Charest Presents CLE on Lease Termination & Production in Paying Quantities
Burns Charest co-founder, Daniel Charest, presented a CLE on litigation involving lease termination, production in paying quantities, and related concepts. He was joined in the talk by Fort Worth oil and gas lawyer, James Key, of Harris, Finley & Bogle. The two oil and gas lawyers made the presentation on the second day of the 2019 edition of the “Oil and Gas Disputes” course, which was hosted in Houston, Texas, and sponsored by the Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
“The topic of lease termination due to failure to produce in paying quantities leaves a lot of people scratching their heads,” Charest noted, “but I hope we were able to bring some clarity to the subject—both from a legal perspective and from a practical, business-minded point of view.”
