The firm’s Darren Nicolson has been recognized as one of the 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers in the nation for 2020 by the legal media guide Lawdragon.

For almost 20 years, Mr. Nicholson has represented client in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes and white-collar criminal cases in courts across the nation.

Among his most notable cases are the successful representation of plaintiffs in a multi-million dollar lawsuit involving business fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and commercial bribery; a jury verdict awarding 100 percent of requested damages, interest, and attorneys’ fees in a breach of a patent licensing agreement; and a favorable summary judgment for plaintiffs in a breach of contract case stemming from a partnership bankruptcy.

 Mr. Nicholson began his legal career at the international Washington D.C. based Arnold & Porter LLP in 2001, and joined Burns Charest in 2019.
