Burns Charest LLP Now Accepts Bitcoin
The law firm of Burns Charest LLP now accepts Bitcoin as a method of payment for legal services. In a recent matter, Burns Charest received payment for services in Bitcoin, rather than the traditional US dollar denomination. Due to the confidential nature of the engagement, the firm will not provide details. But, as always, Burns Charest strives to meet its clients’ business structure and needs. That said, Burns Charest does not accept alt-coins. Only Bitcoin.
According to co-founder and managing partner, Daniel Charest, "Our willingness to accept Bitcoin for payment tracks with the firm’s desire to right-size and co-incentivize our commercial engagements, whether in a traditional fee-for-time model, a flat-fee structure, or a contingent-fee arrangement."
