Burns Charest co-founder Daniel Charest has been named to the list of the nation’s 500 Leading Energy Lawyers, published by the Lawdragon guide to the legal profession. This honor reflects Mr. Charest’s experience and success in the field.

According to Lawdragon, the list “reflects the historic strength of a handful of firms in this area, as well as the incursions the global powerhouses have made establishing Energy as a mainstay of their practices.” The Energy 500 is selected through the publication’s established methodology combining independent research, peer discussion and an enhanced nomination platform.

During the past year Mr. Charest has also been named to Lawdragon’s lists of the nation’s top Plaintiff Financial Lawyers and Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers. His addition to the Energy 500 list rounds out Mr. Charest’s position as a top-ranked, plaintiff-oriented, oil-and-gas trial lawyer.
