Three New Orleans Attorneys Recognized as Rising Stars

Three Burns Charest attorneys in the firm’s New Orleans office have been recognized as Louisiana “Rising Stars” for their accomplishments early in their legal careers.

Leila Abu-Orf, Claire Bosarge Curwick and Rick Yelton are each recognized in the practice area of Class Actions and Mass Torts. This is the fifth consecutive year that Mr. Yelton has been honored, the third for Ms. Abu-Orf and the first year of recognition for Ms. Curwick.

Published by Thomson Reuters in Louisiana Super Lawyers magazine, the Rising Stars list honors lawyers age 40 or younger or those who are in their first decade of practice.

Generally less than 3% of eligible attorneys are recognized each year as Rising Stars, which are selected based on nominations by fellow attorneys and research by Thomson Reuters staff.
