Brooke Hathaway joined Burns Charest in 2024. Prior to joining Burns Charest, Brooke practiced comercial litigation and maritime law in New Orleans. Brooke earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2022, where she was named a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar and inducted into the Order of the Barristers. During law school, Brooke served as Substance and Citation Editor for the Loyola Law Review, completed an externship with the Honorable Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and competed on the National Moot Court team and the First Amendment Moot Court team. Prior to law school, Brooke earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Louisiana State University.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, Aubie and Georgie, and playing tennis.
