Ian Baize is an associate in Burns Charest’s Washington, DC office, where he represents individual and small business plaintiffs in complex antitrust and consumer protection cases. He specializes in drafting persuasive briefs on a case's most intricate legal questions, including dispositive motions and appellate work. He regularly takes on the procedural and jurisdictional tactics defendants use to keep cases out of court and avoid accountability.
After graduating from the University of Chicago Law School in 2021, Ian served as a law clerk to Judge Frank H. Easterbrook on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before joining Burns Charest, he represented voters in voting-rights litigation at Elias Law Group LLP.
In his free time, Ian enjoys hiking, distance running, and cooking elaborate meals.
