
Lawson Sadler joined Burns Charest in 2025 after graduating cum laude from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. During law school, Lawson worked in the Appellate Clinic and Immigration Clinic, where she was honored with the Clinical Student of the Year Award for her oral argument in the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She competed on WashU's National Moot Court team and taught the undergraduate course "Law, Gender, and Justice" in the Women's Studies department.
Prior to law school, Lawson received master's degrees at the London School of Economics and the University of Sussex through the Marshall Scholarship. She studied international migration and carceral policy, with a focus on international asylum law. Lawson attended Baylor University, graduating summa cum laude and becoming a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Lawson enjoys reading, crafting, and cooking with her husband, Alex. She volunteers for immigrant rights organizations to support asylum seekers.
